We are currently assessing our Taxi processes and have taken your point into account. If this system reduces administration and can save the taxi money it will be considered.

As previously advised (below) we currently only accept DBS certificates, should this change we will write to the trade.

It is a requirement that if an applicant applies for a 3 year licence they must complete a new DBS check, this check will then last maximum of three years (duration of the licence).
