Last Thursday one of our lads went on a pick up @05:30am, the office sent him 4 minutes late due to a no show at his previous booking. When his passenger got in she was effing and blinding all the way to the 2nd pick up. When he got to the 2nd pick up he told her that if she didn't stop swearing he'd take her back to where he picked her up from. She didn't stop swearing so he did no more, turned round and took her back to where he picked her up from. She's been in touch with the Council and he's got a come on downer to the Council offices on Thursday, she's reported him for dropping her back off because of her potty mouth. |

He needs to ask the council why else would he take the punter back, unless he had good reason. Once again, if only someone could invent a product that records audio and video in a cabs. |

I've got a voice record app on my iphone and whenever I pick up a single female I hit the button and it gives a reasonable quality recording of any conversation even at speed as it adjusts to ambient noise. Not sure about the actual legality of recording someone without their knowledge but if they make false accusations I feel that'll be the least of my worries. Would possibly have helped in this case though. |
