My badge expires July 31st

my LA has JUST realised they havent seen my DBS check from LAST July, can I pop in and have it scanned within the next 7 days (4 really as they wont be open Sat/Sun/Mon)

Well, no, youve waited 10 months you can wait for me now, but I will grant you online access so i never need another DBS

Why would they need to scan it? They can't legally keep a copy on file, so they only need to have sight of it.

If you do retain a copy, you must store this copy in line with the DBS policy on Storage and Retention of Disclosure information and the Data Protection Act. See the DBS Code of Practice and sample policy on the storage of Disclosures in the Customer Resources/Links section of their website: www.dbsdirect.co.uk
