Hi, and thanks for the replies.
The license was revoked for ....
1. Informing council 4 weeks after I had a conviction, and not informing them when I should of... The conviction which is being appealed next week. The conviction being for assault by battery on partner of five years. ( in our own home ). I still profess my innocence, as it was me who was assaulted ! Council had hardly any information about what had actually happened... Police gave them hardly any help whatsoever. It seemed they read the charge of 'assault by battery' as how they wanted to interpret it... Whereas if you weren't too clued up, it does sound bad. But trying to explain that it's basically just new wording for the 'common assault' charge,, which can be for anything as little as flicking someone on their arm ! That would now constitute 'assault by battery'. !!!
2. Allegedly breaching a restraining order twice, which as of yet... I still haven't been to court for !
Its the normal story yer too thick to be a Union member who would of course had a Brief on the case for yer given yer losing
1 your livelihood
2 Possibly your freedom
Still never mind EH too late for you by the look of it ...........but maybe someone else out there might heed the advice
