Um - am i being fick? Knowledge test not every time ( a one off) at £72 included Therfore badge would be £131.06 - £72.0 = £59.06 and they want to charge £78 my brain hurts............ |

Ive also just realised they included Application process (new) at £40 Initial contact @ £10 (the key word is INITIAL) And (if you want to be really picky) why the £1.50 for a copy of the regs on subsequent renewals - youve already got them I expect Im going to be shot down in flames for my comments ... just pished at what these buggers get away with |

So if a £20K a year LO walks into the office, does 8 hours graft (£76 worth), he covers his wages printing off a few forms, the rest is profit |

Some one wants to get a new calculator or be shown how to do division as their £s charge does not equate to the time factor. Also it is for the want of a better word illegal for a Licensing Authority to make a profit from the fees and charges for Taxi and Private Hire licensing. |

most authorities post the badge out and ours it takes 10 minutes to process the forms in the council "shop" there is no subsequent contact clearly this is all made up and padded out to make it look as if they are making a loss |
