So all it does is detect when someone gets in and switches the meter on automatically, no mention of sensing how many get in. |

I'm told it senses the number of punters in respect of a multi-seater tariff. Otherwise I'm not sure why you would need it. |

One of our cars has sensors on all the seats for the seatbelts. I don't suppose it is beyond technology to wire a meter into that circuit at some time in the future. |

PMSL Do you ever read things properly? I said that in one of our cars there is a sensor for each seatbelt. This is obviously triggered when someone occupies the seat. Now the car has 6 passenger seats so I sugested that it shouldn't be to difficult to tap into that system to know how many passengers there were. I was not sugesting using the kit at the top of this thread. |

You can't clear the meter until they get out. |
