Mr Scott was seen approaching different groups of passengers and engaging them in conversation. On seeing the Officer he jumped into his cab and made off. Officer reports Mr Scott being 'Rude and aggressive'"

Wonder what he was saying to them exactly?

Taxee, boss?

I could make your usual reply to the many, many stories of the above nature which relate to your side of the trade Ollie.

'oh, so you think we want these people in the trade'

See, it works both ways.

The rebel within me says, well done for sticking two fingers up at BAA for charging us a fee to pick up their passengers.

The Cabbie within me says, what a masterbater for trying to have one over on your fellow drivers.

It is of interest most of these touts, both licensed and 'taxee' type, are found out and exposed by the HALT marshalls supplies by the Taxi trade, and not the Police who have a whole 2, yes 2, officers for touting at Europes biggest airport.

Isn't it you that wants the six week KOL, Mr xsczc?

I think that would lead to even more ex-minicab drivers in the taxi trade than now.

'Ban don't license' refers to the Pedicab Rickshaw campaign.

Although theres a few Licensed Minicab firms such as Ali's in Cranbourn Street that it could have applied to.
