One of my colleagues was sat in a warehouse complex in Hillingdon last night (waiting for Heathrow booking)and was issued with a £50 penalty notice for leaving his engine running.

Anyone else experienced this before?

A while ago I can recall reading an article about having engines idling,it mentioned maximum times allowed or an offence was committed.

Trying to locate this article but if my memory is correct it was more aimed at the Bus and HGV vehicles.
