This fella does a blog on the 'naked capitalist' in the US, and has done an in-depth and fascinating look at the Uber business model, and concludes that Uber will only ever make money for it's investors is if it became 'an unregulated monopoly'.

Uber UK has 42,000 drivers so i guess @ £200/week rent each UBER will feel like they are making money

They are nearly that already in London and trying to be in the Provinces due to the lack of enforcement in making them abide by the same regulations as everyone else.
Must have spent a fortune on brown envelopes.

Having read those blogs I'm more certain than ever that Uber will not succeed.

In time they will ask the investors to cough up, and then questions will be asked.

And hopefully the house of cards will tumble down.
