our council leaves you a voicemail message to tell you your plate or badge is ready for collection. This has happened to me the last 4 times when i was unaware a voicemail had been left and ended up not realising plate was ready for over a week as voicemail didn't appear until I got a message from mobile phone company telling me it was about to be deleted I don't think that that is a "best practice" way to go about things I think they should either ensure they speak to you in person or email you. I doubt this is covered in any government guidance but is there any way to get this practice changed ? |

I think a voice recorded call could be taken as good service. Nothing stopping a driver calling in and asking if their stuff is ready. |

If you are renewing your vehicle license, when you go to get your vehicle tested the plate should be ready to issue on confirmation the vehicle passed. |
