Is it possible to make a complaint regarding 'fit and proper' direct to the licensing commitee or do I have to go through the licensing department first ?

I have evidence of drivers using threats and intimidation against other drivers. Because of the seriousness and the fact that it could have implications (in favour of) every driver in the town I'm not sure the licensing dept. would take the appropriate action and instead just have a quiet word with the companies involved.

Can't go into much detail as legal action may follow but it centres around self employment/worker under the direction of status and people telling others what to do under threat that if they don't comply something untoward will happen.

Threats of violence are a matter for the police..not the council

Nothing stopping you approaching the Licensing Chair with any matters you think they should be aware of, or asking for a meeting with them.

However the Police should be made aware of any complaints in relation to threats and intimation.

Harassment is a serious crime.

I used to email the head of function and the chair of the committee. I would also copy in every other Councillor and the chief executive.
