The question is who enforces the rules of taxis working far away from their licensing area? Especially when many 1000s of licensed vehicle only see their licensing area during the licensing process.

there are 2 drivers round my way that almost never have their topsigns on but both don't work the rank and do mainly airport work that said a local driver used their own car for an airport because it had more boot space but police at heathrow have been mounting a campaign at heathrow and he got pulled because he wasn't expecting police about early morning no topsign or plate but hung his badge over the mirror. I believe his license is facing revocation soon |

The annoying thing is the guy who is supposed to be our LO has an office from which, with a pair of binoculars, give a view of the main (3 car) rank and he could see 50% of the hacks have no cable to the rooflight or he could walk over.....
