iver had enough Friday 11am my car passed its test and new MOT BUT.........the council hadnt ticked "MOT included" so after phone calls i had to pay £5 at the council with the forms Council wouldnt/couldnt accept payment "too late" so i stapled a fiver to the forms, stuffed them in a sealed envelope and left "FAO licensing" and waited after several emails and leaving voicemails i rang the main switchboard Mr LO is on holiday Mrs LO is on holiday Mrs part-time admin comes in today ABOUT 12... Our licensing service is awful, the accuracy of information is dire and the costs keep going up so this weekend ill probably sit at my computer twiddling my thumbs and shuffling paperwork i have no interest in bit like a council worker really |

The council must have a complaints procedure. Give that a go and if you get no joy try the ombudsman. Or in the mean time speak to your councillor or email the head of licensing. |

This Council should be publicly accused of maladministration, they would then get themselves into gear, claim for loss of earnings cannot be disputed,LOCAL RADIO talk show would create a whirlwind of action. |
