I think £20 is reasonable.

Well Bob we already done this but waiting time should be £35 per hour that would put us back on a par with 1986, ours below, and yours East Riding will be £16 per hour from October the 1st, your going the wrong way.
10pm Until 6am
Waiting time every 29.29 seconds 20p
(£4.00 per ten minutes, £24.60 per hour)

Basically comes down to a lack of common courtesy, I know it's cutting off your nose to spite your face but I would have been very tempted to drive off.

After 5 minutes and an unheeded warning to them I'd have left them behinf if it were just a small local run, A bigger run I'd have given them a warning and up to 10 minutes of leeway and if they still pee'd me about I'd leave them...usually If i do a both way run I'll ask for both way fares on dropping them off on the first run, then I have the upper hand and if they cant be arsed to get in the vehicle In a timely manner I'll just go and leave them and keep the money, that way It would be they not me that broke any verbal contract/agreement on pick up times..

You can't wait forever and Weddings clients are the biggest offenders.
