They could be doing it via the vehicle/driver conditions of license, in which case in practical terms the record keeping is done by the office they work from.

Turning Circle Recommend the removal of this condition on the basis that it cannot be demonstrated unequivocally that it is essential in order to maximise the quality of taxi service provision

Taxis and PHC Receipts Recommends that a condition be introduced to require the time and date of the journey, the licence number of the vehicle, the cost of the journey and the signature of the driver.

Lets hope Allied get a strong foothold here, and perhaps the bright sparks that form the GLA will sit up and take notice. If LTI get competition. I wonder if we will benefit from some 'extras' down in the smoke.
