Do you really mean except? Or do you mean ACCEPT?

Except, means to exclude, accept means to, well accept.

Not being pedantic, they are two different words with different meanings.

Where?

Well wherever it is, it will make the local LTI dealer / agent sit up and take a bit more notice of those that hand over their hard earned cash to him.

One hopes!

Some people claim that the E7 is an exceptional vehicle. But not me. Or my brother, who needed a jump start from my metrocab this morning. (again) Noticed the word "van" on the tyres, too. I do of course, except that the word accept sounds like except, accept when an exceptable word is acceptable.

It's taken Wirral BC long enough to decide on this. The drivers will be pleased that they now have a choice of vehicle.

Bearing in mind that Wirral has a policy where plates will be issued only for vehicles under 3 years old, the local LTI dealer - Taxifix - will be hit hard by this decision.

One other adverse effect of the decision to plate the E7 is the fact that, with it's lower purchase price, the E7 will attract further new drivers into the job.

Wirral has already suffered greatly since the numerical limit on taxis was removed just under four years ago.

One further poin is that the council has decided to plate the E7 in any colour - when the Wirral plated three Eurotaxis about four years ago, they had to be black.

I have no doubt that there will be even more cabs on Wirral's already over - subscribed ranks within weeks.

But have Wirral "exepted" ( verb, to leave out or exclude) or "accepted", (verb, to agree to)?

See, we all make mistakes, even me, (excepted)
