All newly licensed ones will have to be, unless they are petrol.

E6 diesels
E4 petrols

so all your current area licensed cars are compliant? (newer than a 65 plate)

No.

When the new rules came in all existing cars were/are allowed to keep to the old rules.

In other words the new rules only apply to replacement vehicles.

our new draft states "from april 1st 2020 all vehicles (plated) must be Euro 6 (Euro 4 for petrol) "

the only way to implement that would be to refuse to plate/replate non-Euro 6 vehicles in april 2019....4 months away

Read this to me...

Quote:
4. The minimum engine capacity for the vehicle must be: Petrol 1400cc
Diesel 1400cc

Duel fuel vehicles (Electric/Petrol or Electric/Diesel or Gas/Diesel, Gas/Petrol), Hybrid and Electric Vehicles will be considered on an individual basis on application. . LPG or CNG converted vehicles must have the conversion carried out by an approved installer and subsequently be registered with the UKLPG (further information available at www.drivelpg.co.uk )

Engines less than 1400cc will be considered provided that they are at least 95bhp or 125ps or greater.

95hp is 97PS

so whats the craik?
