Paid fee/put forms in monday
car past test tuesday
plate issued today

BUT

plate expires 18/12/2019 (midnight?) but my insurance doesnt start till 6am friday

You must have had a current insurance policy for hire and reward in force,otherwise the Council would not have tested vehicle or issued license.

well they did, they issued the test form monday when the forms went in

my policy is not on that vehicle till 6am friday
