 Post subject: Engine size limits...

If the regs state "minimum 2ltr" for engines and a 2ltr is actually 1968cc....reckon id get away with it?

So what would happen if you wanted to put on an electric car?

What size “engine” would that have to be.

Or tell them you want to save the planet.

A council up in "Nige" land refused to plate a Tesla as it was 0cc

Yes.

But I'm amazed any council sets a minimum 2 litre requirement in 2019.

Ours used to state 1250cc but they wouldn't plate a car that was 1248cc.

up here they got it changed to the power output of the vehicle as it was felt the capacity limits were out of date

Ha ha that was epic...he went over the border and got plated there in a day. Mansfield Council were like rabbits in headlights that day.
