Overnight refuse to replate cars in perfect condition but older than last years policy required Introduce Euro 6 Introduce ONLY 3 year badges/5 year ops licences Its working here, looks like a 20% overall reduction just since April |

There's always a legal challenge for refusal to plate a car that is more than the stipulated age if it is in good condition. The way forward has to be euro 6 spec or hybrid/electric then. |

However NOTICE is fair, 2 to 3 years wont hurt (when only 2% of traffic is actually licensed) Our LA new policy wanted Euro6 april 2019 (policy due to pass feb 2019 but by objection got it deferred to april 2022 HOWEVER they wont require "exec" plated cars (bigger engines/heavier cars) to be Euro 6.....ever WTF? |
