Ours do 6 monthly checks. How do you know that yours are not doing 6 m0nthnly checks? Could it be because they have kept your details on file so that they don't need to ask you for them every 6 months? However that would be illegal.

Subject: Price increase for DBS processing – Updated requirement for proof of right to work.

Dear Operator,

Can we please make you aware of the following:

Price increase:

New charges for the DBS service from 1st August 2021. This is the first increase in three years and for the first time the fee will cover the costs involved in processing applications and issuing badges. The new charges are now in line with other authorities:

Contractor badge £20
DBS processing £60
CSE 0nline course £20

Ours is definitely still doing 3 year checks, I opted for the update service 3 years ago, very few opted for the service and now taxi Licencing are now asking all drivers to do a new DBS next month.
Sent a copy of my DBS with access code this week, and told all good for another 3 years.
