Sold my car in March, returned my badge 4 weeks ago and told LA ive ceased trading and they cancelled my PH ops licence...


However, my plate has gone missing, LO says im in breach of my licensing thingybobs...


Can i be in breach of licensing when im no longer licensed?

I remember a Lincoln ph driver was fined £1,000 for not returning plate.

You did not mention returning the plate so was the vehicle sold as a licensed vehicle with plate ?

no

car was sold in march

plate was valid till jan 2023

and yes, i know it should have gone back but i put in the shed and......

insurance expired in feb, eagle eyed licensing missed that

anyway, they swallowed, gulped and toddled off now

what kind of plate do you guys have that makes it so precious that it has to be returned, we buy our own stick on pvc plates from the local print shop and throw them in a bin after we rip them off.

We can't throw them away as they belong to the council, who take a deposit.

they are the property of the council and they want it back to make sure it is properly destroyed and can't get into the hands of the unscrupulous !
