jesus bloody christ!

And your point is please?

well amazed you need to ask, laws are not written with people in mind who like to send that which is not ordered (if someone books two taxis thats what they want not one taxi and a tout).

or written even with those in mind who run mixed fleets you have mixed law. the private hire can charge what he wants the taxi maximum statute.
for instance.

Look mate Im a taxi and have never been anyone else. And if you think that licensed ph are touts, then you are a prise pillox.
In my area all the firms have both ph and taxi, therefore we dont need to cut each others throats. The firms make the ph charge the taxi tariff.
Some think its agreat idea to have different cars charging different prices. I dont.

private hire cars should be banned from the bus lanes!
As it says quite clearly BUSSES AND TAXIS!
PH want the same rights as taxis but not the rules!
get a hackney mate or stop whingeing!

PHs have as much right to use bus lanes as taxis, it is only those who can't hack fair competition that moan and whinge about it.

For goodness sake, isn't the fact that you can pick up off the street, as well as take phone bookings not enough for you?

As for descriptions, well down here in England, we don't have taxis, we have Hackney Carriages. So if you kept to your ignorant views, then you shouldn't be in the bus lanes either.

Yes, I'm impressed that you licensed you cabs as buses too.

But I would say that with the others that do like-wise, you would account for less than 0.05 percent of the total UK taxi trade.

Sussex.
can I let you on into some intrigue?

tonight I have been talking to a top man in the bus trade, cannot describe him too much or he will be recognized.

he tells me that a plan hatched by the metropolitan transport authorities particularly in West Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, and Greater Manchester, has been thwarted

the plan was to take bus licensing from the traffic commissioners, and too themselves.

apparently Alistair Darling cut it off by the coat tails.

Jesus ain't that a frightening thought?

buses limited by number.

Clearly the minister doesn't want to limit buses, but turns a bit fat blind eye when it comes to taxis. :(

I wish they would limit buses.
Limit them to working days and not taking our late night work. :(
