the 100 extra cabs have not had that much effect im averaging one bad night per week but am still making good money over all ,no doubt others will dipute this, as far as i know only five non taxi personnel have put on plates which may account for this,on another note a few wav plates are concerned over the councils handling of the taxicards, if you remember they took away the 1500 grant and replaced it with extra taxicard journeys, they then sent out threatening letters to all wavs to join the taxicard scheme or face losing your plate the problem is all but two plate owners have agreed to accept taxicards but none have been issued the relevent documentation by the council, ive been waiting nearly three months meanwhile 203020 who handle the taxicards are cleaning up with the extra journeys which were meant to be for the new wavs,if the council dont issue the taxicards within one year of issuing my plate im taking them to court for the 1500.... |

Thank you for reporting this, you obviously forgot about the big issue. Wheelchair Accessible Taxi's! Sorry Accessible Taxis. Ask the Dundee City Council, they are the wise guys. They have now incorperated a presidence of anyone surrounding Dundee is allowed to earn off the Taxi Trade. The DTA and TGW were correct in their statments do not destroy the town and what it stands for! WAKEN UP!!!!
