Taxi Driver Online

Hey guys I was hoping some of you could offer me some guidance,im based in liverpool and iv been thinking of becoming a private hire driver for a while now and was just after some info.
whats involed in geting the license?is there a driving test you have to do or is it all exam based?
how easy is it to get a job?
can i work my own hours(days only, nights only) or do you get set hours?
how much am i looking at earning a week?
what will i have to pay out for cab,radio and anything else?
sorry bout all the qeustions but thought i would do some research first before i jump in with both feet.

I am sure you will get some useful replies from members on here but I would sugest that most of the answers you need can be got from the licensing department and by asking a couple of private hire companies in your area.

Not sure about how easy or not it is, but from my experience if you really want to to do the job, then you will get licensed no matter what.

And if you work hard then you will earn a reasonable living.
