If this car had it's markings on when the council licensed it, then it's a bit rich them now having a rare up over it.

Arse and elbow springs to mind.

How did it pass the Plating test if it had the flags on it already which seem to be against council rules??

I must have spoken to upmteen people about all this flag lark, and I couldn't give a ****.

If the councils allow them, all well and good. If they don't, all well and good.

I just wish as much newspaper space could be devoted to the high level of discrimination and in-equality in this trade. :(

Of that there is no-doubt. I just hope some of them have been voted out today.

Only to be replaced with a few more. :( :(

The best bit about this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3794919.stm is the bit But Thanet Council, which covers the Margate area, told BBC News Online that it had not received an application from any taxi firms to have licensing laws changed.

If drivers had to apply to change the rules, then it wouldn't be ready until the next Euro Championships.

I find it amazing that so many people want to fly the national flag when a group of nancy boy millionaires jet off to their 5 star hotels to play football.

Not so many of these patriotic souls flew the national flag when our armed forces went over to Iraq to fight.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, its disgusting where peoples priorities lie.

Dream your dreams

Ha ha ha
we have the moral tendancy eh Mick?
Listen our boys were and are well supported by the people however its inappropiate to wave the union Jack when they are killed by Americans who are trigger happy and should be keeping us safe.

dont go too deep into that one, but these flags are mostly made in 3rd world countries like pakistan, to say they offend is a little stupid. in our area British decendants of Pakistan people are proud to fly the flag.
