These two appeals highlight the dim view some councils and Magistrates are taking with regard to Road Traffic offences. I think it should be a warning to all of us. I have some sympathy for the 59 year old because at that age he may find employment hard to come by. http://www.thisisbradford.co.uk/bradfor ... 6.int.html Best wishes John Davies |

The magistrates look on cabbies as a safe form of transport home John. Racking that amount of RTO's in a short space of time will leave the magistrates with no option but to reject his appeal,it's happened all over the country. A few years ago one of our lads got caught 5 times by the same camera on the same day, he amassed 15 points in 3 hours, he went to court the magistrates fined him but didn't ban him because they said it would cause him hardship. We were well shocked when they didn't ban him, the Council just gave him a wrist slap and told him to be carefully. |

Maybe they should be offered the DSA tests, before they are re-licensed. But I now know where the lasiest drivers work, only 22,000 miles a year.
