Post subject:  Btec/NVQ concessions.
I would be grateful for a quick poll by the good folk on here.

I am aware that some local authorities have agreed incentives such as extended badge periods, etc. once drivers have completed the Btec/NVQ. The best we can get from our LA at the moment is that they feel the insurers may reduce our premiums!! FFS that's nothing to do with the council!! We were hoping we might get a two year badge from them but, so far, to no avail.

I wonder if you fellas (and fella-ettes!) would be kind enough to let me know what concessions have been won from councils following qualification.

I think other than paying for the course from council (i.e. our) funds you don't get anything else.

Apart from maybe a different colour license badge. :?

warrington are giving a free 3 year lic (worth £75.00) .The have to do something with their cash. its not spent on ENFORCEMENT :lol: :lol: :lol:
