Post subject:  Penalty Charge notice

I recieved one from Camden Council for an ilegal U turn.

There is no mention on the form of points, does this mean it doesn't attract points or will I be hit for them at a later date?

Councils can't give you points. :-$

Legally speaking it's more like a bill than a fine.

My concern was that once I had paid it that could be taken as an admission of guilt and then passed onto the dpp (or whatever they are called these days)

I think that's unlikely. The councils want to raid your wallet.
Putting you off the road would be depriving themselves of future revenue :wink:
