Is my local council obliged to provide enough rank space to accomodate any extra plates that they issue. I wondered if there was a ratio. IE: 50 plates = 50 rank spaces 50 plates = 25 spaces etc. |

I wondered if there was a ratio. IE: 50 plates = 50 rank spaces 50 plates = 25 spaces etc. I dont think there is a legal obliagtion to provide a ratio of ranks to taxis, but maybe a moral one. However in my experience you could have thousands more ranks, but 99.9% of cabbies will still use the old ones.

The fact that you have it in your license says all that needs to be said about your council. F***ing clueless. |
