Hi
There are no power restrictions being imposed on any system that is in opeartion. The only time that Ofcom will change any sort of power output is if you are causing some sort of interferance or you apply for a new channel, in some cases people have been used to having 25watts output from their base set because it was licensed years ago but when they apply for a new licence or to use data on the channel they suddenly find out that Ofcom have only given then 4, 5 or if your lucky 10watts output power for the base station and 15 or 25 watts for the mobile operation.

If you have any questions regarding these sorts of issues you should contact your local Ofcom office and seek advice from them.

Thanks that is basically what I was hearing, we have 25 watt output and were concerned that if we made any alterations to the license we would be cut to 10-15 watts. I was told that some Auriga users were having problems when changing equipement or updating the system.
