just a word here with regrds CAN bus, [ Command Area Network] its an interface used to connect a taxi meter to along with other electronic items, some vehicles dont have them fitted as standard, i learn they are around and up to 120 quid depending which model of vehicle you have, the dealer stocks them, on some vehicles the taxi meter cant be fitted with out this.

so if you are buying a motor from say a main dealer or big outlet, tell em its going to be a taxi, i need CAN bus interface, so part of the deal you want the interface fitting if it hasn't got it,

its not a big job, somewhere near the fuse box or in the fuse box are some couple of twisted wires, it should be marked on the fuse box CAN high and CAN low, thats where they fit the interface
