I'm in touch with a web site developer to create a national web directory of proper Taxi Cab companies.
Trying to compete with P.H. is getting more and more difficult. So, I want to create an image of national identity.. It means that someone getting onto a train in London can contact a Taxi in Bury (for example) and be safe in the knowledge that the driver knows where they're going and that the service is going to be profesional.
The idea being, you can offer a professional looking website on your paper work that gives your customers the corporate profile of a large national organisation and the ability to support our trade anywhere in the country.
At the moment it's just a fledgeling idea.. I'm looking for suggestions of what it should include..
Obviously, the more information we want on, the more it will cost.. But, the better it will be.. It's a fine balance..
Anyway up, it'll be cheaper and better than the other national directories ie Yellow Pages.. Who put us with our major competitor ie Private Hire..
We're Taxies for crying out loud.. We worked hard to learn the information AND sat a proper test to prove we can do the job..... Understand the difference.. Ok... Ok... off my soapbox now..

Any suggestions... Marc@BlackCab.org.uk

One option is to have your own companies page..
Now that could be ' www.BlackCab.org.uk/BuryTaxiCo '. Or, you could buy the domain www.BuryTaxiCo.co.uk and redirect it to your own page on 'www.BlackCab.org.uk' and still have all the other pages of information available.

Am I explaining myself ok?
