WE SEEEM TO HAVE CAUSED A STIR SIMPLY BECAUSE WE WISH TO CHANGE OUR DESPATCH SYSTEM. AS A RESULT WE HAVE A NUMBER OF DATAX UNITS FOR SALE.

WHY WE HAVE CHANGED OUR SYSTEM SHOULD NOT BE OF ANY IMPORTANCE TO ANYBODY OTHER THAN US. SHOULD WE HAVE "FALLEN OUT" WITH ANYBODY ONCE AGAIN SHOULD NOT BE OF ANY IMPORTANCE TO ANYONE EITHER. ALL THAT IS IMPORTANT IS THE FACT THAT WE HAVE 80 DATAX UNITS FOR SALE CHEAP. SHOULD THESE BE OF ANY USE TO YOU PLEASE CONTACT US.

What did I say, mention Diplomat and ..........................

All the chap wants to do is to sell his surplus data heads, nothing too complicated in that.

Strange.

I thought this site was here as an opportunity for those in the trade to exchange knowledge and opinions.

There is a long running debate on an industry supplier and the quality and integrity of their company.

A representative of your company, using the same 'handle' as you willingly joined that debate and spoke in support of this company.

Less than 12 months later you are on the same forum saying the company you supported previously is being replaced as a critical partner in your business.

I think that gives others on here the right to ask you why you have reached that decision.

Of course you are at liberty not to answer, but that doesn't help this forum serve it's purpose.

I admire this company.

its always been difficult to buy diplomat data heads new, let alone second hand.

if they get a problem, who on this earth could help?

have a crack on e-bay,

Whilst an avid follower of the subjects and opinions on this forum, I rarely add my two peneth. However, I feel that I should comment on this particular subject.

For whatever reason, Chingford Radio Cars have decided to switch systems and are simply using the forum to sell their redundant equipment. Presumably there are companies out there who like the Diplomat system and should be waiting to bite there hands off for a bargain.

As for the person who suggested that Advance cars "know nothing" about computerised systems... you couldn't be further from the truth, Shabs is one of the most knowledgeable users that I know. Infact it is ironic that both of these companies (Chingford and Advance) are probably in the top 10 most professional companies that I have dealt with in the industry.

Peter
nobody said Advance cars knew nothing about computer systems, just a provocative not after a bizare statement about cars to open a lively debate.

I think you will have already found that Exel Management are a bit different than Diplomat?

There cannot be many who is fortunate like me who ordered a Diplomat system and got an exel management one delivered?

Diplomat told me they were the best to look after my computer and software needs. cant believe that can you? they did.

they were right of course, not arguing against that.

so please dont say , I said that which I did not, thats a diplomat trick, and not fitting with the honesty and intergrity of Exel Management.

The fact that they are so professional means I am even more interested in finding out why they have changed their opinion.

What wasn't Diplomat doing that another company can. And who have they changed too.

not sure to tell you the truth,
diplomat is a terrible stain for anyone to carry, and to go from a slack set up to a proper company is a hell of a step.

and you know hes concerned me a bit on here, you know these two blokes are heady taxi proffessionals that know all about computers, they bought diplomat for [edited by admin] sake and said to all in one case how good it was!

how can you believe a salesman whos worked for diplomat?

Peter is ok for London, he would struggle convincing a yorkshireman

Yorkie,

I wouldn't dream of trying to convince you of anything, you are obviously far to canny for a mere southern salesman.

As for being "stained" by Diplomat, I think I have survived. Please remember that I worked for Exel before Diplomat and was one of Richards first customers.

I really hope that I do not "sell" to customers but rather show them an informed choice. I Like you have had over 18 years in the industry and believe that even the best system is not always the best choice for all customers.
