Hi
Depending on what you want, coded data is not bad at all. I have a company with 34 cars using 5 tone and Tait radios. After setting up the buttons the drivers can:

1. Press mic to bid for a job/ident who they are.
2. Press btn to rank on
3. Press btn to ask controller to ring out for them.
4. Press btn to plot on main rank
5. Press btn for panic

There are various combinations. I now have this working with the new Tait TM8100 radio.

regards

Hi
So how much is the CT4000 then? What does it come with as standard?

Also you say £200 for satnav?

The boss of my firm says that each data head is £1,200. Is that right.
Put that on top of all the extra computors and the like thats a lot of cash.
Surely its best to stay as you are.

There is an old saying, you only get what you pay for. Pay £200 for a data head and you'll get £200 worth of use out of it.
