i tried the Tesco's own brand 'Value' car air freshener the other day and it is pretty good.

you get two in the pack and they are just 50p a pack.

i've had some good comments from customers saying how nice the car smells, so they are on my shopping list each week now.

ok, you'll use the pair of the up in a week cos the smell only last 4-5 days at the most for each one. but at 50p for 2 it is not exactly breaking the bank is it?

you can hang them off your indicator stalk. i've never had anything hanging from the rearview mirror as it blocks your view, isn't it ment to be illegal now or something anyway?

Interesting idea Mr Skippy41, I find that people very rarely comment on the smell in my car, possibly because it's usually reeks of smelly pizzas, curries and vinegar etc.

If they comment at all it's usually about the fact that they don't like the smell of the air freshener - I remember being really pleased with the smell of my new magic tree when someone got in and said it smelt like death, but of course people just like to moan, don't they?

The first comment I've had for weeks was on Sunday night, when someone said it was 'a nice smelling taxi' but ironically the magic tree has been in it for months, and I don't really smell it at all, but maybe others that aren't used to it do.
