Can a base owner who has Mercury log on anywhere (say at home) with full control and admin rights, etc?

I doubt it, unless the system is installed on a laptop.

so its not an online system, but id guess any sensible owner would want to be able to see/check whats going home if away from the office

ours has tracking but only 1 screen per base op, surely 1 with the tracking on and one for entries would make sense?

oh, and headsets not handsets for the base ops...

The system should be installed on a dedicated computer or computers. If you use the computer for anything else you are asking for trouble, as we found out.

I quite often log in from home (DataMaster system) to update driver / vehicle info. I use Teamviewer which gives me full control of my desktop PC. It has to be installed on both machines.

If he's taking control of work remotely he has full admin access. It can work off a laptop, once you are given the package you have full access where ever you are.
