I got more option. Payleven and Sum up. Sump up has 1.95% Debit/credit card transaction cost

We use Cabcard (Paycabs) 15.00 per month for the machine, customer pays 5% automatically on whatever fare you type into the machine, driver gets 100% of the fare entered plus 1% commision back from the surcharge, been with them for 5 years now, never had a problem so far, money in my account within 3 working days

whats a typical card payment fee?

is 27p per £10 right?

When we took card payments there was a distinction between cards. A debit card payment cost 16 pence but a credit card was something like 2.5% and American Express was somewhat higher than that. The monthly charge was £30.00
We did very few transactions and had a couple of chargebacks for no reason so we knocked it on the head.

That's why I'm using iZettle. No upfront costs and only 2.75% per transaction maximum.

I have been doing quite a lot recently but sometimes I can go months without a card payment. A monthly fee would be very uneconomic in those circumstances.

For anyone who wishes, I have a code available which, when quoted at joining, gives us both some discount on the fees. Nothing to lose. Let me know.
