Looking to by my first meter within the next couple of weeks, looking for advice on which one to get?

I know a couple of local taxis have the rear view mirror meters, I dont really want one of them for various reasons, I have been offered a F2 Digitax meter and will prebaby get it,
Before I take the jump I am just wondering why the mirror meters are (apparently) becoming so popular? is it because they are less intrusive or ease of use or is there other reasons?

Skoda Octavia I have.

thanks for any advice in advance.

It's just drivers trying to be flash.

Stick with the bog standard, but ensure the fella who updates it when the rates change is local.

This ^

Use whichever is most common in your area - the novelty of a fancy-dan meter will quickly wear off if getting repairs and rate change is difficult.

That's good to know, Digitax F2 then I think, unfortunately living in Fort William the only place I can get one installed and updated is 70 odd miles away in Inverness.

Life in The Highlands ;-)
