I dont think so they publish their price list also so it would be easy to see if they added it on..
Maybe get a quote first then claim the grant later is the way to go to stop any shifty number manipulation.
Has anyone actuall got this grant?

And Mick, why is Exel so good - what does it do that makes it "so far ahead"?

Regards,

Dave.

Well Dave I suppose you are still using a Sinclair Spectrum to access this site, washing your clothes in a twin tub and driving a car without PAS, ABS, FM radio ................................. I doubt it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a quick look at www.gatesheadquaystaxis.co.uk then consider that the system has been 100% reliable.

BTW its good cause it does everything

I came to work and had a note,
during my shift I had to devote,
up date the exel site.
2 words to which to bite.

I linked the machine to the plug
nothing happened is there a bug?
ah the server needs two words
so phone the boss abuse I herd.

he gave me the information so back I went
to programe the computer, to exel site i was sent
press on the customer part
put in two words i had to impart.

I filled to voids as command
try again was the demand.
so I tried again as I must.
several times I nearly went bust.

what do I do next?
I clearly thought with this site I am very vexed
dare I ring excel at 2 in the morn?
Wonder if Gary will be reborn?

decided to give it a wide berth
the update not done, to my mirth
so I leve my boss a little note
lots of time I did devote

In the morning you will be so ready,
phone that Gary who will be so heady
and get the right words to feed the site
for I failed so badly on this quiet night.

4 days left to do this task,
a horrible though I do bask.
if its not done the computer goes down.
but someone gave wrong words there the clown.

I let excel on this very hour
stay asleap instead of devour.
I allow them to carry on in thier slumber.
sure in though that tommorow I will be in dead lumber

Paddington Bill

Just been to visit the Exel site after hearing how good the system is meant to be.

A few questions;

Shouldn't a market leader in IT communications have its website up to date. 75% of the pages are under construction, with a note saying come back after 1st October 2003.

Unimpressed.

MMmm then it said
November 1
Then
December 1
Then
January 1 (who is working then anyway??)

It is now 5 months after the first great release date..
What's the story Jackanory

Is anyone actually using this new Mercury system??
Just how good is it?

It is a cracking system, country wide, good back up, good staff, nothings to much trouble for them, the kettle is always on when you go to the office. These little things count. Oh another thing, you don't have to shell out a shed load of cash to buy it, they will rent you the system and the booking software for I think £2.50 per car per week. Throw it on the drivers radio rent they are happy with it so are the customers.

Do I take it you are actually using this system ?
We know of more than one Exel site that has the XDAs piled up in a corner. While they still have to pay the rent to O2

It would be only polite to tell them if Exel have sorted the problems out so they can begin to use the kit..

Don't get me wrong I wish Exel the best of luck with their chosen path. I am not confident it is right though.

My only motivation here is that we want to purchase back the Dataheads from them but they are reluctant to let them go until the Xdas come right..

If you can sort these people out they would love you forever and so would I as we have sold out of Datax Mk1 and have urgent orders..

Cheers
Stewart

according to the accounts and report to shareholders, they had loads with the comment from you directors stewart, certifying them at "no commercial value"

yet you offered them to me at £200 quid a unit.
