Oh I remember.. They had quite a prominent metal hood.
Do you have any old junk ones for my museum?

Mind you, the early dataheads were difficult to mount...

You might to take the [edited by admin] out of them Stewart but there are a damn sight more of them still in use than you have ever sold.

And their second hand value is similar to your new models. Which indicates who wins the 'popularity stakes' I guess.

And sorry I sold mine on for £150 each after 8 years when I brought CT3000's. Apart from the one in my museum that is

I don't reckon that was Stewart.

I think we've got one knocking around here already.

I'm a bit of an old radio man myself. We've also got some Storno 5000's, Icom IC-125's, Tait T500 mobiles and some Tait 300 Series base stations.

And no, they're not data compatible.

What no Pye valve sets? How about the bent mics with orange buttons?

My impression of Autocab is that they spends a fortune on their sales and marketing but f*** all on their product and even less on support / customer service.

Perhaps that is why you don't see many elated customers on here.

Regards,

Dave.

or by email: alan@squarebanana.com

i thought you had my number stewart?

if you need me contact me:

And as regards autocab with GPS

if you are a greedy company owner who wants to feed your company cars and treat your owner drivers like sh*te then leave it as it is and dont bother me...

if on the other hand you want it to treat everyone the same, with ALL your drivers (and i mean ALL drivers) chasing jobs like hell, and getting fuel ratios of 15 to 1 out of a petrol and 20 to 1 out of a diesel and a load of happy smiling faces at the end of a shift then mail me and ill tell you how to sort it out...

by the way hiya dusty (bin) and (handy) andy hope your keeping fine mateys, and good luck with the site...
