Visited the show this week and was shocked to see that Lauchie was no longer working for Cordic, but Sigtec instead! I understand that Lauchie started at Auriga (which was 'the best'), then moved to Cordic, which became the 'new best' (clearly Lauchie was wrong the first time), but now, it seems that Sigtec is best! How come he cant make up his mind? Answers on a postcard. . . . . . |

Clearly the best is the one that's paying the best.

Anything other than the PDA route is a winner IMO, ours is getting worse by the day. |

It's a bit like A&B Cars in Basildon in Essex, one year they were with Autocab at the show shouting their praises, the next year they were with Auriga at the show shouting their praises then a year later they are with Cordic at the show shouting their praises, I wonder how long it will be before they are with Sigtec shouting their praises?? |

This is my first (and hopefully last) post on this forum. It seems to me that forums such as this are the ideal place to gossip and make cowardly accusations whilst hiding behind a false ID so I am not much of a fan. Occasionally there are useful threads which many can benefit from, but sadly there are also threads such as this. The person who started this thread is clearly not worthy of their alter-ego. Anyone who reads through the PHTM will have noticed our press release regarding me joining Sigtec and a brief summary of my background, so it’s hardly a news flash! It is not my intention to educate the individual who started this thread, therefore I will be brief; Auriga – When I joined Auriga, the Sirius system was the best solution for many companies. Then, a new system and new MDT were rather hastily launched. At around that time, I chose to leave and did so on good terms. Cordic – I was Self-employed initially, I recognised the strengths of Cordic’s solution and became a reseller and later a full time employee. The system was and still is very good in my opinion. Sigtec – Sigtec provide an excellent solution for many high-end taxi and private hire companies. It is currently running fleets of up to 10,500 vehicles, all over the world. The UK and Europe are clearly important markets so when Sigtec were looking for someone with considerable industry experience to help them build up their presence here, they contacted me and now I am their Business Development Manager. The Coventry show was a big success for Sigtec. An observer such as “In the know” would have noted that those who have bought from me in the past, came to visit me on the Sigtec stand and were very supportive. Why? Because they have never been miss-sold anything by me. In closing, if you have any concerns about my level of professionalism or simply want to know more about Sigtec, then please send me a private message with your real name and contact details then we can communicate like adults. Thanks for your time. Lauchie |

I think this sort of posting is a pretty poor show and does nothing but drag this forum down. |
