does anyone know what camera options are out there, I want to put one in a vw shuttle with either vcr time lapse or digital imaging. Any help would be appreciated, Ive run the idea past the council and they have no objections.

The ones I've come across are the ordinary video recordings, which use the same tape just re-recording over itself, and the digital one, which photos every 30 seconds and when the doors are opened or closed.

If I was buying one today I would go for the video option. I think it's the cheapest, although it's a bit of a pain cos it takes up a bit of space in the boot.

There are some new ones on the market that were introduced in Mansfield a few weeks ago, they work on a hard drive basis, they can store loads of images so you don't have to keep changing it.

i dont think i like the idea of tapes, nidges suggestion as in mansfield seems ideal from a customer privacy point of view, downloadable when theres been trouble.
