I thought it was only three minutes every three months? Thus I think it's a dealer issue. |

The cygnus mr300 automatically changes the time for BST, my meter is running around 3-4 minutes slow. I just want to know how to alter it even if it is only by 3 minutes to get it closer to the real time. Cheers, G |

If it's more than 3 months since you last changed it then you press the select button and the total button down together, which should move it on a max of three minutes. |

Annoying isn't it... You correctly say that you can adjust the time by 3 minutes per month. But, mine used to lose about 30 seconds per day.. So, neede to have it reset about each 3 months.. But, because the meter can be set to automatically change tariff, only the dealers can reset the time using the plug in their little calibration tool.. . Else, all the unscrupulouse would be moving an hour backward and forward to maximise their profits.. Not that they would.. oh.. no.. no.. no.. no... |

Our Meters aren't calendar controlled, we don't do things like that. |
