I got invited to Exel Management's offices this afternoon by the MD Richard Moore regarding the issues we've been having with loss of connections on the PDA's and several other issues.

He's assured me that the connection problems "will be sorted".

We are getting some new PDA's with a dual sim card so hopefully no loss of connection in the future.

A productive meeting in my eyes.

But what about all the faults with the software? Plus the lack of support.
Ours still crashes at least once a day but we have never had an engineer turn up to give it a good old service.
All we are told is that when the system is dead, we have to send the pc back to them and they will sort it. Probably means wiping it and starting again.

He is also going to look in to that to see what is happening with regards to software issue.

Honestly Echo I reckon now we've cleared everything up regarding the issues we've been talking about, the problems will get sorted.

Richard was up front with everything and answerd all my questions as I did his.

Have you been paid to type this?

If it is a network problem how can he assure you it will be sorted?

Anyway, with how screwed up Mercury is, the only way to put it right is to offer Mercury 2 as a free upgrade, that's providing it works

Unbelievable!!!!!
We've added a 3rd station cos we've 'inherited' a firm that used mercury and now they've put monthly subs up to £1200.
Takes the urine. When will our bosses change to a proper system???

A’th lookst and see’eth none but guest.

Does seem a bit strange, after all Nigel seems to have dedicated half his life to lambasting his system then out of the blue it’s all sunshine and roses and he disappears in the process.

Maybe Nigel’s talent and ability to criticise taxi systems has finally been recognised. And having 99% of what it takes to be a salesman in this business, he’s probably working a senior executive by now.
