because they all go on holiday in August". That believe it or not is what a Mercury rep told a local rival last week.  Funny I'm sure we had an extensive remapping done in August. Must have cost Steve a fortune in roaming costs from the Costas. Having heard this, I was wondering what other whoppers they may have hit them with. I'll keep you posted. |

Mate you wouldn't believe the sh!t they are spouting off about Datamaster round here to, we've had the, they'll be bankrupt within 6 months, they've only got one guy working for them, they work out the back of a van. I laughed at one of the Excel vvankers the other week when he came out with that, I replied with, Richard Moore the owner of Excel and his father Harold Moore who is a Director of Excel stole over £2million pounds from ex miners setting up a Taxi Company back in the 90's, the Taxi Company went bust but they walked away with a few hundred thousand pounds in their Sky rockets. I also told him that the so called Mercury Mobile booking system was stolen from Diplomat after Stuart Harding gave Richard Moore a leg up onto the ladder. Back in 2002 Richard Moore was given some sales space by Stuart Harding at The Donnington Taxi show selling Sat Navs on Diplomats stand. Richard Moore repaid Stewart by stabbing him in the back and stealing his Diplomat Navigator codes and renaming it Mercury Mobile with the help of a guy called Mike Scott. Off he went with his tail between his legs. |

This sort of stuff is the staple diet of the really desperate salesman and sadly, we’ve heard it all before. They all get their comeuppance though when they end up ringing us to see if there’s any jobs going. We genuinely average about one a month doing this and it’s getting to be a bit of a pain so if there’s any sales people reading this, please don’t bother ringing.

I was told similar stories but not from mercury. Autocab say the same stuff. As someone recently said to me, "We are all s**t." Just some are less s**t than others!!! |
