Been amazed the last few days.

I have had three sales calls from dispatch software suppliers wanting to discuss my requirements.

If they really knew anything about this trade they would know a taxi operator has absolutely no time in mid December for 'sales pitch'. Simply puts you off the company before you start.

Especially today when the guy made several attempts to try and undserstand why I didn't want to talk to him in December.

Yeah Tom. Know that feeling. It's also our Financial Year End, I am a single parent with two unruly kids, I am moving home just after Christmas, we are building new offices, just fallen in love with a new female driver, I am trying to set up a revolutionary new taxibus scheme... And then, there's the school run and the everyday work to handle.

The only spare time I get, is an hour or so sitting here in the evening. The last thing I want, is more to do in the office right now. But, I am still keen on a new system, as, at the end of the day, my sole purpose in getting one installed is to make less work for me!!!!!

I think the problem is Tom, that they have loads of spare time around this period, cos no-one is going to fit a new system over the Xmas period.
