| Post subject: | Upgrading to Autocab GHOST |
Hi I would like to hear from anyone who has upgraded from the classic v12 version to the latest Autocab Ghost software. Is the any actual benefit to upgrading and what extra features do you get as its not very clear apart from Autocabs plug about it being the future  . Also are there any features missing in ghost that we have in classic? Thanks

Weve just upgraded and are now using it with pdas. It seems good so far. Few features missing but they did sit with us and run through what we used and why it wasnt available. A couple of things seem to be included but in a different way. i think whats benefited the most is the call recording and stats. The reporting seems good too. Operators warmed to it fine as its the same to book work. Accounts package is easier aswell although weve only had it a couple of weeks so iv not done a full set of invoices and only a couple. Who are you dealing with? We had a really indepth day looking at it in their office with Alan who has been there donkeys |

I have just been quoted just shy of £20 to upgrade my 30x D21s to Minos that is without any changes that are need to the rest of the system, my past experience with them tells me to go look elsewhere for the complete system to pay that just for an upgrade they would have to be exceptional |

No benefits apart from around 2-3 hours of work saved by our accounts. Just causes more grief than it's worth, there is not point upgrading, stick with classic ! |

Ive recently spoken to someone who Upgraded to Ghost after a long time with classic (200+ cars). To some up his feedback, Ghost is like throwing a monkey wrench into a perfect working engine. So it looks like were sticking with classic for the time. |
