Post subject:  CYGNUS MR200 WIRING

Hi All,

Firstly I would like to say that I am not a licenced taxi driver just an owner of a Lti Fairway Driver that I purchased as a runabout.
As there is a space above my head in the cab for a meter I purchased an old Cygnus MR200 to fill the void. My problem is I would like to wire it up so that it lights up and give some sort of response when I press the buttons and I can not find anywhere on-line that has a wiring diagram for it and have joined this forum with the hope that someone out there maybe able to assist me.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure which one works the lights, but I can tell you it's not red, black, yellow and white. I think that just leaves grey and bluw iirc.

Thanks for the reply, but I am after a wiring diagram or list for the attachment of the 7 wires from the taximeter.
Cheers

Not being funny, but why do you want a working meter in the car if it is not being used as a taxi? Maybe you should run it by your local authority licensing department before you install it to be certain that they are not going to prosecute you for operating without a license.

as 200 is not being serviced by cygnus i get in touch with your council and if they ok with it (in writing) then try and find someone to fit it for you... dont get it calabrated.
