| Post subject: | CYGNUS MR200 WIRING |
Hi All, Firstly I would like to say that I am not a licenced taxi driver just an owner of a Lti Fairway Driver that I purchased as a runabout. As there is a space above my head in the cab for a meter I purchased an old Cygnus MR200 to fill the void. My problem is I would like to wire it up so that it lights up and give some sort of response when I press the buttons and I can not find anywhere on-line that has a wiring diagram for it and have joined this forum with the hope that someone out there maybe able to assist me. Thanks in advance. |

I'm not sure which one works the lights, but I can tell you it's not red, black, yellow and white. I think that just leaves grey and bluw iirc. |

Thanks for the reply, but I am after a wiring diagram or list for the attachment of the 7 wires from the taximeter. Cheers |

Not being funny, but why do you want a working meter in the car if it is not being used as a taxi? Maybe you should run it by your local authority licensing department before you install it to be certain that they are not going to prosecute you for operating without a license. |
