I've just received this via our e-mail, and I think it's what we have all been asking/looking for. :D

Alex

Dear Editor,

You may be interested to hear about our new automotive travel product, the unique Travel Flexi Lap-Tray, available exclusively only from Bibetta Limited.

Please click www.bibetta.co.uk for details and to buy on-line. I hope you like this highly useful product and will consider mentioning it to your members in Taxi Driver On-Line.

It is a great idea for taxi drivers, or anyone who snacks in their cars, to protect the lap, clothes and seats from crumbs, spills and stains when eating.

It is made of waterproof neoprene, has a crumb catcher pocket and rolls up after use, ready for the next meal in your vehicle! It also has a bridging rod inside to give support across the knees to hold food safely in place. (Product patented by Bibetta).

Also what are your advertising rates and methods? Please call if you require more information, photos etc.

Kind regards,

Paul Brown,
Director, Bibetta Limited,

Have a read of the document posted on the opening page of this website, I think that says it all.

You see Ollie I don't stop on nights, and I don't have to line someones pockets into the bargain.

You do. Honk Honk.

If I'm earning good money then I don't care whose pockets I line.

If I don't like the firm I'm working with, then I go on one that I do like.

Maybe you would rather have a tout lining no-ones pocket, than a legit PH lining an operator's pocket? :?

That aside, surely many thousands of London cabbies are lining the pockets of operators, albeit taxi ones.

And out of the three main firms, two of them are owned by foreigners.

What's that you say about taxeeee taxeeee?

Sussex is right. I think at times I am working just to keep the Repair garages going.

I now think that if I don't work, the cab won't need repairs. So I will just leave it in the garage.

One day I am going to get a proper job.

Even if it was a greedy plate holder? and you were both earning good money?

Whats a tout got to do with Ollies constant waffle about how much better of he is driving a minicab than a London Taxi?

If it was that good we would'nt have hundreds of minicab drivers doing the knowledge to get away from that side of the trade to ours.

Funnily enough in 20 years i've never met anyone doing the opposite, strange that?

Taxee? I guess i'm dyslessic?

Providing it was in a quota free district, then why not?

Lets assume its a restricted area, but the owner is charging a reasonable amount, and your both still on a reasonable wad????
